Senior Year

Senior Year
All of these years,
Gone by so fast.
Our eyes flooded with tears,
As we reminse the past.

We had so much fun,
Growing up together.
Now, we're almost done,
But our memories are forever

First Year of Worldviews

Tori and Elizabeth(2 years ago Timothy Ministries)

Year 2 of Worldviews

It’s the Time
As the days go by,
and the time gets near.
We'll all just sigh,
maybe drop a tear.

The friends we've had,
and the ones still here.
We'll all be sad,
at the end of our senior year.

The time is near
It's finally here.

It's time to walk down the aisle
and put on a great big smile.

It's time to say good-bye
and breathe a small sigh.

We've made it through a rough year
but the time we spent together seemed so dear.

We hug all our friends
and pray to God it is not the end.

We hide all our tears
so we don't show our fears.

We realize that time has flown
the we've been shown
how to make it on our own.

The teachers look at us with a sense of relief
and we're just glad we hadn't cried.

As we said we all made it
Congratulations class of 2006!

Graduation
A celebration...

A time for looking back on lessons learned,
adventures share, bright moments filled
with special meaning.

A farewell...

A time for saying goodbye to old friends,
to good times you've known... a time for
packing away memories, treasures for tomorrow

A beginning...

A time for looking forward, a time to set new goals,
to dream new dreams, to try your wings and see
what lies beyond

Leah and I-----------Tori and I   (Childhood Friendships)

The Road Not Taken
by Robert Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,

And sorry I could not travel both

And be one traveler, long I stood

And looked down one as far as I could

To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,

And having perhaps the better claim,

Because it was grassy and wanted wear;

Though as for that the passing there

Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay

In leaves no step had trodden black.

Oh, I kept the first for another day!

Yet knowing how way leads on to way,

I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh

Somewhere ages and ages hence:

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--

I took the one less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference.

Man its been a crazy few days! The Parkers, came to dinner and to spend the night Wednesday. Les had her wisdom teeth out on Thursday she and the family stayed with us. As of yesterday it was down to just Les. Juggling school through having a full house was interesting but all was good. I have officially had 2 runs!!!! my doctor said i can take it slow but he sees no reason for me to come back, I could have hugged him I never thought 2 miles would hurt so bad though...i guess the 25 miles biking helps alittle. His jaw dropped when i told him*everything* i had been doing since he said i couldn't run. hehe Annalee and I had coffee yesterday....i got grief from the guy at Starbucks for walking in with another kind of coffee, personally i told him i really didn't care I finally got my new book yesterday I ended up staying up till almost 1am reading i was SO into it. I never have time to read anymore. Well i should hit the books i think I have dinner and i movie plans tonight...plus a friend from Hungary coming intown today so i should get busy. Annie~

The first is camp in the early morning about devotions time and the other was Beth Anne's 12th b-day.

Wow the trip was great, Christmas was wonder. Thanksmelissa for updating my xanga. See at my grandparents house theres this thing of the past called dial-up(ever heard of it?) i hate it so little time was spent on the computer, besides i didn't have the time, between 5am trips to lakeshore. Dad and I sang on Christmas morning in church with one day of practice my nerves were through the roof.
Well as to what Mel said about my finger, yep it was pretty bad and hurt ALOT. I had 2 nurses look at it, they said it was a spider. But since it was still pretty bad when i got home i went to the doc. Well its always something with me i'm very talented. It is the Hurricane Katrina" Staph infection, this resitant staph that people who have been down there or live there. Many teens they said are coming back with it, they were glad they caught it early. So with a open cut going down i got it. So i am on heavy antibiotics and its getting better.

I got to see my sister on the way home in Birmingham :). More tomorrow.
the first pic is me and Gabi. The second is David and I(her dad)

Merry Christmas Eve! Well, this is still Mel, Annie's still in Lakeshore and She's waiting with baited breath til the day that I give her my password, and as she says - I'm gonna pay for those pictures. Today in Lakeshore, they're going to start handing out the layaway stuff and the food packages. Everything is going great down there, God is working in awesome ways. There is a new prayer request though, Annie's getting some sort of infection on her finger - She can't wear her ring and it's all puffy.
Anyways, Today was my Christmas cause we've got church tomorrow, so we opened presents this morning...I got the Revenge of the Sith soundtrack...among other things, like an 11 hour documentary on the Civil War yay! I love the Civil War.

Anywho Annie bought the Garth Brooks boxed set at Walmart ^_^ yay! She says it rocks - and I believe her. Garth Brooks is so way awesome =] [=

"We sing life's a highway, There's only one way you're gonna get through it. When she starts to twist, be more like Chris, Pull your hat down tight, and just LeDoux it! When that whistle blows and that crows explodes, and them pick-up men are at your side, singin Good ride cowboy, good ride" -Good Ride Cowboy by Garth Brooks, Tribute to Chris LeDoux.

OK that's all for now, i've gotta go, i'll update again, once i hear from Annie again.
Love y'all,
~Mel
